FAQ
Family having fun on the Mount Royal.

How does a session with you work?

I ensure to provide an experience that goes beyond just a photo session. That’s why each booking includes a preliminary consultation, a client wardrobe of clothing for the mother, a discussion about the clothing you want to bring for yourself and your family, a studio or home session lasting up to an hour, and professional editing and retouching.

What are the packages and prices?

To see my packages and prices, simply click on the 'Book a session' button.

After selecting your base package, you have the option to choose additional à la carte options, such as more digital photos, products (albums, frames), etc. I will send you my price brochure at the time of booking.

To book your session, please click on the button, choose a date, and pay the deposit. The balance will be payable on the day of the session.

I don't know how to pose, and I feel uncomfortable in front of the camera.

I notice that 90% of my clientele claim not to be photogenic. However, I can assert that 99% of my clients love their photos! So, don’t worry, I’m here for that! I’ll guide you throughout your session by providing poses and small movements that will make for stunning shots.

What do I bring to my session?

For studio sessions, there’s no need to bring anything along! We have all the essentials covered, including maternity dresses, baby outfits, photo backdrops, and refreshments like tea, water, coffee, and snacks. Feel free to bring your own clothing and any sentimental items you’d like to incorporate. If you’re bringing children, remember to pack diapers (while I keep a few newborn sizes on hand for emergencies, I may not have all sizes) and ensure they’re well-prepared. You’ll receive a preparation guide the week before your session.

I don't really have any cute newborn outfits.

No problem at all! Either we can swaddle your baby for the session anyway, or I have newborn outfits available at the studio. If you would like to purchase an outfit to keep as a souvenir afterward, I can recommend the best places to buy the most beautiful newborn outfits that will look stunning in photos.

After the challenges of giving birth, I'd prefer to have my session at home. Could you bring your studio to me?

Certainly! If you prefer your session to be at home, we’ll pre-select some outfits, swaddles, and accessories in advance, which I’ll then bring to you. I’ll also inquire about the room with the best lighting at different times of the day. If your home tends to be dimly lit, I’ll bring additional lighting equipment. With this information, we’ll coordinate our session accordingly.

My baby is not born yet, can I already schedule a session?

Absolutely! Regardless of whether your baby arrives early or late, scheduling a session ensures that you’re reserved in my calendar and that I have availability for the session. The sooner you book, the better. (By the way, you can book a session together with your maternity session and take advantage of package savings — click on book now to see the options!) If we need to reschedule the session due to your baby not arriving on our pre-selected date, there are no additional fees.

Image editing — example

Each image will receive basic color adjustment and skin retouching, etc. I never overdo the editing; you won’t look like a doll, but I do aim to highlight the natural beauty of you and your loved ones.
